Departure from our bus Terminal, at 08.30AM, located at the Gran Vía 645 towards Zaragoza. Free time to visit The Basilica of our Lady of The Pilar, patron saint of Spain, and to see the old quarters of the city. In the afternoon, continue to Madrid. Overnight.
Breakfast and overnight. In the morning, panoramic city tour with local guide, who will show the monuments and contrasts that the capital of Spain offers. We will cross his principal places of interest as the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the Cibeles Square and the Gran Via Avenue, to end in the Orient Square. We will make a stop at the Devod Temple, Plaza Mayor and the Ventas Bull Ring. Free time to take some photos (it will depend on the climatic conditions). Then, we continue to the Columbus Square, where we will take a soft-drink in the Hard Rock Café Madrid. Afternoon free to explore Madrid or to attend an excursion in the outskirts of Madrid.
Breakfast and overnight. Day off to explore Madrid or to visit near the outskirts of the city El Escorial. Also, you can attend many of the shows and musicales in Madrid.
Breakfast. Departure to Ávila, World Heritage Site and birthplace of Santa Teresa de Jesus. Its great Roman wall surrounds the city and keeps much of its monumental treasures. Free time to enjoy this jewel of the Middle Age. Then exit to Salamanca, a university city par excellence, known worldwide for it and for its artistic richness: cathedrals, palaces, churches of various styles. In the afternoon we will make the city tour including the Plaza Mayor, Casa de las Conchas, the New Cathedral, the Old Cathedral and University. At night you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of this city. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure to Ciudad Rodrigo, short tour at this beautiful medieval town declared Historic-Artistic heritage complex, where its walls surrounds a rich heritage of civil and religious buildings headed by its cathedral and castle. Proceeded to the Portuguese border, to continue via Guarda to Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and the ex-capital of Portugal, whose narrow streets, houses, palaces, chapels and churches do that this city is a pleasure to see. Continue to Fatima, one of the most important religious shrines in the world after the six apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherds near the Iria cave. Overnight.
Breakfast and departure to the beautiful medieval town of Obidos, with its nice little narrow streets and picturesque red-roofed white houses, sheltered by the impressive city walls. Our next stop is Lisbon, the capital of Portugal located at the Tagus River. Overnight.
Breakfast and overnight, in the morning included a panoramic city tour of LISBON, passing through the Alfama district, birthplace of St. Anthony and once the old Moorish Quarters, the Belem Tower symbol of LISBON and the Geronimo’s Monastery. Afternoon free. Possibility of an optional tour to see the 3 most visited towns on the outskirts of LISBON, Sintra world Heritage Town, Cascais and Estoril.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards the Spanish border to arrive to the World Heritage city of Caceres, with uncalculatable historic buildings dating back from the 14th and 16th century. The old quarters is one of the 3 best conserved medieval quarters in Europe. Free time to see Plaza Mayor and the old medieval district. From there we’ll head towards Madrid. Overnight.
Breakfast at hotel. Free time to continue visiting the city until time scheduled to depart by train back to Barcelona. End of Services.
