In the morning meet at our bus Terminal located in Gran Vía 645. Depart at 10.00AM. towards Zaragoza. Free time to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of The Pilar, patron of Spain and to stroll through the old streets of Zaragoza. In the afternoon continue to San Sebastian, one of the most famous tourist destinations, city of the International Film Festival. Panoramic city tour of this French style bourgeois city, see its elegant promanade around the circle bay and the magnificent Conchas beach. Overnight.
Breakfast at hotel. We will approach Mount Igueldo, to enjoy the unforgettable views of the city and then proceed towards Bilbao. Panoramic driving through Bilbao and free time on the esplanade where The Guggenheim Museum is located in order to admire this modern building of unique architecture. Proceed to the old fishing village “Castro Urdiales”. Free time,then continue to Santander, a port city located between the sea and the mountains with lovely seaside promenade and well known for its Sardinero Beach, one of the best known beaches in Spain. Free time to stroll through the beautiful shoreline or other activities. Overnight.
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Santillana, its one of the most important historical artistic towns in Spain. It contains architectural treasures such as the Collegiate of Santa Juiliana, a Jewel of the Romanesque Arquitecture in Cantabria. Continue to Covadonga, where you will have free time to see the Sanctuary and the Grotto with the patroness of Asturias, our Lady of Covadonga. In the afternoon, departure to Oviedo, where you will see on a series of hills the beauty of Saint Maria de Naranco Church, jewel of the pre-Romanic Austrian architecture. Free time to explore Oviedo. Many of the streets are pedestrian, where you will be able to see World Heritage sites like The Cathedral, a splendid example of gothic Austrian style. Overnight.
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Gijon, panoramic city tour and then proceed to Cudillero, one of the most picturesque fishing villages in Spain where we have free time for lunch at one of the fresh fish restaurants on our own or you can walk uphill to the top of the village for excellent view of the sea and the village below built in a theater style with houses sloping down. In the afternoon depart to Lugo, which holds one of the most impressive roman ramparts with a perimeter of 2266 meters in circumference a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Parts of the walls are open so if you feel like it, you can stroll on top of the over 2000 year old walls. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to La Coruña. Brief panoramic drive through the main avenues of this fabulous town driving by the Marine Avenue to admire the elegance of this city with the typical Galician architecture of glass house galleries. Brief stop at one of the wonders of the world, the oldest working lighthouse the “ Tower of Hercules” dating back to the Roman period. Afternoon at leisure in the city. Those interested, can take an optional tour to the nearby villages of Rias Altas. Overnight.

Departure to Santiago de Compostela declared World Heritage town as it is one of the most important center of Christian Pilgrimages in the world as the end of the Camino de Santiago route built during the Roman Empire. City tour where we will see the main square called Obradoiro and also the Cathedral ( entrance included ) dedicated to the Apostle Santiago. Afternoon free at leisure to explore the narrow cobblestone streets and soak up the medieval atmosphere. This heritage site is only second in importance to Rome’s St. Peter’s Basilica. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards one of the most picturesque areas of Galicia, the Rias Bajas, the lower rivers delta area where 4 rivers meet the Atlantic. They are famous for beautiful views and rich marine life. Marvel the stunning view of the river estuaries at the Atlantic seashore. Driving through this magnificent landscape we will arrive to la Toja Island, known for its spa. Free time, then continue to the Ria de Arosa, passing through Pontevedra to arrive to the city of Vigo, situated in the middle of the Rias Baixas. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy this lively city or take an optional tour to the seaside fishing village of Bayona and Santa Tecla to see the remains of the the old pre-Roman settlements of Celtic people, the original inhabitants of Galicia and Portugal. From the hill we will also have impressive views of the Miño River and on its other shore, Portugal. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Salamanca following The Old Silver Route built during the Roman times. Upon arrival free time in this world renowned city with one of the oldest universities in Europe, the magnificent Plaza Mayor, the Shells House, the old and the new Cathedrals. Continue towards Villacastin crossing through the Guadarrama mountain range to arrive at Madrid. Overnight.
Breakfast at hotel. Free time to continue visiting the city until the departure time of train back to Barcelona in the afternoon. End of trip. Extensions in Madrid or Barcelona can be added.
