Cordoba was a Roman city and Islamic center in the Middle Ages. The La Mezquita mosque has stunning Byzantine mosaics and a columned prayer hall. It was built in 784 and became a Catholic Church in 1236.
Granada is known for the Alhambra hilltop fortress built during the Moorish occupation. It encompasses royal palaces, serene patios, reflecting pools and the Generalife gardens.
Toledo is a stunning medieval city with Arab, Jewish and Christian architecture and monuments in the old city.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of Madrid; find the medieval origins of the city, like the Arabic fortress, at the Barrio de la Morería, famous for its historical buildings. Drive through the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs characterized by Phillip II and its Renaissance and Baroque style buildings, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa; the Madrid of the Bourbons and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III, the interior of the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá. Admire the XIX C. works such as Prado Museum. The contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca, Plaza Castilla and Parque del Oeste, as well as commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, the emblematic Las Ventas Bullring and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. Afterwards, we will walk to a traditional restaurant to savor the traditional and delicious “Paella”. Balance of the day free to continue exploring the wonders that the city has to offer. Breakfast at the hotel. 8:30 AM pick up from the hotel and drive through La Mancha, the land of Don Quixote. After a brief stop at Puerto Lapice, you will cross through the natural border of the “Despeñaperros” into Andalusia, a region of enormous heritage. Once we reach Cordoba, we take an impressive tour of its Mosque and other sites by strolling through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. Lunch is served in a traditional restaurant where you will also have the chance to taste “Cordobesa” cuisine, such as the “Salmorejo” and the “Rabo de Toro”. After lunch, we continue the journey for two hours before arriving at Seville. Accommodation at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a panoramic city tour including: the interior of the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), the Santa Cruz quarter (the original backdrop to the opera “Carmen” and where the myth of “Don Juan” developed), Maria Luisa Park and finally the Plaza de España. During the tour we take a break in a “Rooftop” coffee shop to contemplate the magnificent views of the old city. After the city tour we enjoy a ‘Tapas’ lunch at a choice of two tabernas. After breakfast we drive east through the Caliphate road to the heart of Andalucia passed endless olive trees on the way to Granada. The last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms until 1492. Visit the world famous Alhambra Complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. In the evening, dinner is in a typical “Zambra Gitana” with a Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter. Accommodation at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and then we drive northward towards Castilla. Surrounded by the Tagus River, the Imperial city of Toledo (World Heritage listed) is where the three Christian, Moorish and Jewish cultures have lived together peacefully for centuries. The whole town is a National Monument to Spanish art, history and culture. First, a short guided tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets. Then proceed to a famous Wine Cellar for a Tapas lunch and Wine Tasting. Continue to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel (Premium rooms).
