 Portugal - Spain Tour Itinerary from Barcelona: 5% discount for bookings made before 31 Dec 2017

Departure from our bus Terminal located in Gran Vía 645, at 08.30AM., towards Zaragoza. Free time to visit The Basilica of our Lady of The Pilar, Patroness of Hispanity and to see the old quarters of the city. In the afternoon, continue to Madrid. Overnight.

DAY 2 Thursday – MADRID
Breakfast and overnight. In the morning panoramic city tour where we will see Spain Square, the University Complex, the West Park , Casa de Campo, the Morish Quarters, Orient Square, Main Square, The Sun Gate , Neptune, Atocha, Alcala Gate, the Senorial Retiro Park, the Ventas Bull Ring, Columbus Square, Castellana Avenue, the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Cibeles Square and the Gran Via Avenue. Afternoon at leisure to explore Madrid on your own or attend an optional excursion to the historical city of Toledo, a World Heritage site.

DAY 3 Friday– MADRID
Breakfast and overnight. Day at leisure to explore Madrid or to visit near the outskirts of the city El Escorial or Toledo or visit the famous Prado museum (on your own) world renowned for its Spanish masterpieces. Overnight in Madrid.

Breakfast. Departure for Ávila, World Heritage Site and birthplace of Santa Teresa de Jesus.
A great Roman wall surrounds the city and protects its historical treasures. Free time to enjoy this jewel of the Middle Ages. Then depart to Salamanca, a university city par excellence, known worldwide for its university, one of the oldest and most prestigious ones in Europe, and for its artistic richness: cathedrals, palaces, churches of various styles. In the afternoon we will have a city tour including the Plaza Mayor, Casa de las Conchas, the New Cathedral, the Old Cathedral and University. At night you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of this student city. Accommodation.

Breakfast at hotel. Departure
to Portugal towards the border town of Ciudad Rodrigo, then continue via Guarda until we reach the University city of Coimbra, one of the oldest in Europe and once the capital of Portugal, the Portuguese version of Salamanca. Free time to admire the city's narrow streets, hanging houses, palaces, chapels and churches. Departure to Fatima, well known for the Sanctuary of our Lady of Fatima, patroness of Portugal. Free time to visit the Basilica. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel.  and continue our trip to the beautiful medieval city of Obidos, where we can explore the cobblestone streets and red roofed white houses, sheltered by the impressive city walls. Our next stop will be in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, located on the right bank of the Tagus River. Night optional tour dinner
Fado show, the national bitter-sweet musical genre of Portugal and a must to see. Overnight.

Day 7 Tuesday – LISBON
Breakfast and overnight, In the morning panoramic city tour of Lisbon, passing through the Alfama district, birthplace of St. Anthony and once the old Moorish Quarters
. We'll also see the Belem Tower symbol of Lisbon and the Jeronimous Monastery built in decorative Manuelian style with marine type ornaments. Afternoon at leisure. Possibility for an optional tour to see the 3 most visited towns on the outskirts of Lisbon, Sintra, a World Heritage Town, Cascais and Estoril seaside resorts..

Day 8 Wednesday – LISBON – CÁCERES - SEVILLA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards the Spanish border to arrive to the World Heritage city of Caceres, with
its fortified buildings form the 14th and 16th century with Moorish and Iberian Gothic buildings testaments of a rivalry between the Muslim and Christian powers. The old town is one of the 3 best conserved medieval quarters in Europe. Free time for linch or to wander around on your own to see the Plaza Mayor and the old medival district. Continue to Sevilla. Overnight.

Day 9 Thursday – SEVILLE
Breakfast and overnight. Morning panoramic city tour, driving through Maria Luisas Park, The University, Americas Square and The Pavillions built in 1929 for the Iberoamerican Fair. Following the panoramic tour we will continue on foot from the Murillo Gardens towards the old “Santa Cruz” quarters. Brief stop. We will then proceed to the Cathedral (entrance included)
, the symbol of Seville and the final resting place of Chrtiopher Columbus. Admire the elegant Giralda Tower once the minaret of the Mosque and today the belfry of the Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure where you can attend an optional artistic tour or visit on your own the splendid Alcazar royal castle with its palm adorned gardens and lace-like rooms. In the late afternoon, possibility of attending the finest Flamenco Show in Spain.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Ronda, passing through the Route of the White Villages to arrive to Ronda. Ronda is one of the oldest cities in Spain, whose origins date back to the Neolithic Period. Free time to explore the main sites of Ronda, from the Tajo Gorge to enjoy an unforgettable view of the city
and the oldest bullring in Spain, considered the symbol and soul of Ronda. In the afternoon departure to the international beachside resort La Costa del Sol. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11 Saturday – COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time till midmorning to then proceed to Granada
at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Tour of the most visited monument in Spain declared World Heritage Site, the Alhambra where we will be seeing the opulent Nazarite Palaces and the Generalife Gardens (entrance included). Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Alicante. Panoramic drive through Alicante to admire
its unique layout of this elegant seaside city encircled between the mountains and the sea. Continue to Valencia. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and possibility of signing up for the optional city tour of Valencia, a town renown for the international Fallas Festival and of the works of the Valencia
n architect Santiago Calatrava, who designed The Arts and Science Complex, unique in its genre with its huge "eye". Departure to Barcelona. End of the tour in Barcelona.
