A short tour from Barcelona to the most popular touristic sites of Spain, the Andalusian cities of Seville, Cordoba and the Al Hambra in Granada. Cross the peninsula via the vibrant city of Valencia and the elegant seaside resort of Alicante to arrive back in Barcelona on the evening of day 6.Fully escorted.

Seville

DAY 1.  Sunday BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA - MADRID
Departure from Barcelona downtown  at 8:30 a.m. towards Zaragoza. Stop and free time at the main square of Zaragoza to visit The Basilica of our Lady of The Pilar, Patroness of Hispania and to see the old quarters of the city. In the afternoon, continue to Madrid. Overnight.

DAY 2  Monday  MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast at hotel. Departure towards La Mancha. Brief stop at the typical site of Don Quixote. Continue towards the south of Spain, crossing through the impressive gorge of Despeñaperros, gateway to the Andalusian Region. The first stop in Anadalusia is in Cordoba, a UNESCO World Heritage city famous for it Mesquita and the white washed Judeira with its  narrow streets adorned with flowers sheltering hidden patios. We will visit with our local guide the  Jewish Quarters and visit the world renown Mosque (entrance included). In the afternoon continue to Seville. Time at leisure to explore the quaint old streets of white washed houses and orange trees. Dinner and overnight in Seville. 

DAY 3 Tuesday – SEVILLE
Breakfast. Morning panoramic and monumental city tour, where we will come in contact with this magnificent city, driving by Maria Luisas Park, The University, Americas Square and The Pavillions built in 1929 for the Iberoamerican Fair, the Murillo Gardens towards and the old “Santa Cruz” quarters. We will then proceed to the Cathedral (exterior) where we will also see the symbol of Seville, The Giralda Tower once the minaret of the Mosque and today the belfry of the Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure to discovering the city on your own. One of the possibilities is to visit the Alcazar castle (on your own), one of the world's still functioning royal palaces with its stalactite-like carved rooms and lovely gardens. In the evening dinner and optional Flamenco Show, the finest in all of Spain. 

DAY 4 Wednesday SEVILLE – GRANADA
Breakfast at hotel. Through the old Caliphate road we drive to the heart of Andalucia to Granada, located on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Tour of the Alhambra, (Red Palace) a UNESCO World Heritage site, an exquisite testimony to former Moorish power and the most visited touristic site in Spain. We will also be seeing the Generalife Gardens with its sunken gardens, roses, fountains and Cyprus trees (entrance included). Dinner and overnight in Granada.

DAY 5 Thursday GRANADA – ALICANTE – VALENCIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Via the fertile valleys of the Segura river we drive towards the Mediterranean Sea to reach Murcia then continue to Alicante, the popular seaside resort town. Panoramic drive through Alicante to admire the unique location between the mountains and the sea, then continue Continue to the lively city of Valencia where history blends with modern avant-garde. Overnight un Valencia. 

DAY 6 Friday VALENCIA – BARCELONA
Breakfast at the hotel and possibility of signing up for the optional city tour of Valencia, a town renown for the international Fallas Festival and of the works of the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, who designed The Arts and Science Complex, unique in its genre. Departure to Barcelona. Tour ends in Barcelona.
