Day 1, Sunday: MADRID
Arrival at Madrid airport on your own, meet with
your driver and transfer to your hotel.
Free time in Madrid to get to know one of Europe's most dynamic
capital cities. In the early evening, take part of an “Illuminated Madrid”
through the bustling streets of the old city, ending at the historical Plaza
Mayor. This area is home to some of the most typical restaurants and
taverns, which serve the delicious "tapas". PREMIUM PACKAGE includes a
Tapas Dinner tonight. Return to your hotel at your own convenience.

Day 2, Monday: MADRID
After a buffet breakfast
join our sightseeing tour visiting some of Madrid's most outstanding attractions, like the Puerta del
Sol, the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the stately Alcala Gate,
the busy Gran Via, the Plaza de España and the Plaza de Oriente, etc. Free time for
lunch. Premium package includes lunch today in Madrid
or Toledo). Join the afternoon an optional tour to the former capital
city of Toledo, where you will be escorted through its narrow cobblestone
streets, enjoying its medieval atmosphere.
It will include the interior
of the magnificent Gothic cathedral and a visit to St. Tome Church, where El
Greco's masterpiece painting is displayed. There will also be some time for
shopping or strolling around the narrow streets. PREMIUM PACKAGE includes TOLEDO
TOUR. Return to Madrid for overnight.
Day 3, Tuesday: MADRID-MERIDA-SEVILLE
After breakfast drive through the once-remote
region of Extremadura, home to many of the “conquistadors” among them
Hernan Cortez and Francisco Pizarro, the conqueror of the Incas. Arrival in
ancient Merida. Free time for lunch. (lunch included in PREMIUM PACKAGE.)
In the afternoon, visit the Roman amphitheater archeological
site before continuing to Seville. Overnight in
Day 4, Wednesday: SEVILLE
After breakfast city tour of Seville, a charming city, Spain's third largest. See the Tower of Gold, the tranquil and
extensive Maria Luisa Park, the quaint Santa Cruz Quarter, and finally the cathedral (one of the world's largest) with its Giralda Tower (a former
minaret), copy of the original in Marrakesh. Free time for lunch. PREMIUM PACKAGE includes lunch
today. The afternoon is free to explore this city even
further or free time for shopping. Our suggestion is to visit (on
your own) the fantastically stunning Alcazar, one of the most beautiful
royal palaces in the world, a designated UNESCO Heritage site. (advance
reservation recommended). This evening
there is an opportunity to attend an
optional Flamenco Show with local wine. PREMIUM PACKAGE include
Flamenco Show and drink. Overnight in Seville.
Day 5, Thursday: SEVILLE-CORDOBA-GRANADA
Morning departure to Cordoba
and visit the
former Great Mosque (now a cathedral) with its hundreds of columns collected
form different parts of the world. Free time for lunch or wander around
the many little atmospheric alley ways and streets with hidden patios. Continue
to Granada, passing thousands of acres of olive groves. PREMIUM PACKAGE includes
dinner tonight. This evening, we offer an optional visit
and gipsy show at the quaint and typical Albaicin quarter, a Bohemian /Gypsy district originated in Moorish times. (PREMIUM PACKAGE includes this
visit). Overnight in Granada.
Day 6, Friday : GRANADA-MADRID
Buffet breakfast. This morning, enjoy a guided tour
of the magnificent
Alhambra and the beautiful Gardens of the Generalife,
one of the marvels of Spain and the World with their stalactite adorned
rooms, hidden gardens, little fountains that are the extensions of the
royal dwellings. Departure to Madrid,
crossing the Plains of La Mancha, land of Don Quixote. Arrival in Madrid.
Day 7, Saturday: MADRID - DEPARTURE
Buffet breakfast. Transfer to Madrid airport to check-in for your trans-Atlantic flight .
